Nonprofit leaders...Looking for reliable ways to bring in money regularly ?
Then you should definitely check out the new Recurring Giving Report from Neon One.
It's a neat guide based on analysis from over 2,000 nonprofits over a period of five years and it looks at both recurring (regular) and non-recurring (one-time) donations, as well as the behavior of 100,000 regular donors.
I read it this morning (just released) and learned some incredible things about recurring donations for nonprofits.
🔍 Here were some of the stats that stood out me
📈 The average nonprofit’s recurring donor base grew 127% but medium-sized nonprofits saw a staggering 154% increase in regular donation income from 2018 to 2022.
📈 Individual recurring donors gave about $949.19 each year. The average monthly recurring donation was $79.10.
📈The highest recurring monthly gift was $51,593.61. Yay for this person!
📈Nonprofits had an average recurring donor retention rate of 78%.
📈The average recurring donor lifetime was just over 8 years
📈50% of recurring donors give additional gifts
Questions!

Parting Thought
Friends, today I leave you with a reflection as to why GDDF is such a unique event.
With years of experience in social impact work, I've had the privilege of participating in various events, observing what works and what doesn't, all with the aim of extending the impact and reach of our collective efforts.
What makes GDDF truly exceptional is its innovative design, tailored to be an inclusive gathering accessible to people from every corner of the globe. 🌍 This inclusivity shines through its dual format, offering both virtual access to participants worldwide and in-person convening in Washington, DC.
But GDDF takes it a step further by hosting multi-country satellite events, known as GDDF experiences. These locally-driven programs feature sessions broadcast from GDDF locations, fostering a seamless global exchange of ideas and insights.
What truly sets GDDF apart, however, is its unwavering commitment to driving meaningful change through collaboration and innovation.
💡 Through interactive sessions, thought-provoking discussions, and hands-on workshops, participants aren't just spectators; they're active contributors exploring transformative solutions to our world's most pressing challenges.
Whether you're joining remotely or in person, GDDF empowers you to share your insights, exchange best practices, and cultivate partnerships that propel innovation forward. In this dynamic environment, the possibilities are endless, and the impact is boundless.
I hope to see you on June 12-13th 2024 at the the Global Digital Development Forum (GDDF)!
Cheers,
Nick
